2mm Lab Created Birthstone- Conflict Free!
Sterling Pendant piece is between 3/8” and 1/2”- depends on how twirly I am feeling!
Flush setting stones involves LOTS of magnification!!! Math, Measuring, Drilling, boring out metal with different burs to a precise depth, and finally burnishing a tiny layer of silver over the girdle of the stone to secure. A good sanding and buff gives this cutie 1 stone pendant a brushed metal finish.
As with all Kaleidoscope Kitty creations, I appreciate your support as I continue to learn on my metalsmithing journey. Your piece is always under the most loved conditions, and although it might not be perfect like in a fine jewelry store, BUT, I made it, and it is special. Some design elements are intentional, some are wonky happenings that pop up along the way. Was that stone placed just off center? I’m not telling.
I thank you for your support, for each one of these necklaces sold will help me further my learning in new techniques.
